For me, New York city is all about the architectural details, from the huge and overwhelming, to the small and totally forgotten. The city’s lost, hidden pockets speak to me as much as its towering icons. After three frigid days of walking the city (and after 25-years since my last visit), I hardly took my phone out to take photos. Way too cold. I found myself appreciating everything with no distractions. Old-school sightseeing, if you will, and it felt great. However, as always, I did manage to find a few compelling locations worth capturing.
